Experience & Leadership

National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) In July 2023

Taking part in an intensive leadership development program meant collaborating with peers from across the country on real-world problem-solving exercises — an experience that strengthened my teamwork, public speaking, and strategic thinking.

Model United Nations In spring 2026

Researching national government policies allowed me to accurately represent assigned countries across a range of pressing global issues, then negotiate and debate with delegates holding opposing viewpoints.

Consistent committee participation sharpened my public speaking and my ability to think on my feet.

Legislative Intern — Office of Assemblyman Michael Novakhov Since February 2025

I've been interning in a New York State Assemblyman's district office, gaining firsthand exposure to local government operations, policy work, and constituent services.

Co-organizing community outreach events, including neighborhood cleanups and confidential paper-shredding drives, sharpened my ability to coordinate logistics and manage volunteers from start to finish.

Counselor-in-Training — Summer Sports Camp

Selected for a competitive leadership training track this summer, mentoring and supervising younger campers in athletics and team-building activities has built my responsibility, patience, and group leadership.

Athletics & Arts

Regularly each spring and fall has built discipline, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure while balancing a demanding academic schedule.

Tennis Competing
Piano Since 2013

Years of consistent practice in classical piano have cultivated focus, patience, and a long-term commitment to craft.

Ping Pong From 2023 to 2025

I played competitively, building hand-eye coordination and strategic thinking.
